Holiday for Hounds

The Landmark at Hatchery Hill Apartments hosted Holiday for Hounds on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009. The free public event was well attended and took place from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on a beautiful sunny day.

The event featured presentations, demonstrations and services for dog lovers and owners. There was a Microchip clinic put on by the Dane County Humane Society. Wonderful presentations were given by pet communicator, Asia Voight, intuitive healer, Mary Lelle and dietary whiz, Michelle Lonergan from Tabby and Jack’s Natural & Organic Pet Emporium.

Artist Jeff Hiser did adorable pet caricatures and award-winning photographer Anne Connor of Driftless Studio took pet photos. Obedience and agility training was demonstrated by Mad City Dog Training.

The event was a great success. We are not sure who had more fun the pets or their 2-legged friends!
